[b 14 Sept. 1847 at Ripley, NY; d 19 Mar. 1927 at Bethel, MI] When Corydon, his older sister, and his parents came to Michigan, it was just a wilderness. US 12 was only an indian trail at the time. His father had come the fall before and built a log cabin; then he returned to New York in the spring for his family. Corydon Malcon Fenner m Emma Buck [b 20 Mar. 1853 in Adrian, MI; d 2 June 1922 at Coldwater, MI]. When he was still a young man, he joined the Methodist Episcopal Church of West Ovid, Branch Co., Michigan and continued as a member until his death. He was buried in Coldwater Cemetery.
