Nathan Fenner

 

Nathan Fenner [b 28 May 1802 in RI; d 4 Apr. 1892, age 89] m Nancy Farmer, daughter of Luther Farmer. Nathan was described by one source as a carpenter who also taught singing schools during the winter. Census records refer to him as a farmer. Nathan had bought ten acres of land from Thaddeus Hildreth in Herkimer County, NY, on which he built a house and barn. After a few years he moved to Stockholm, St. Lawrence County, NY, selling his place to T.W. Thurston.
